Meet Asha

A Story of Strength

Asha lived in a village where women's empowerment and gender equality were far-fetched dreams. With her limited exposure to education and finance, she was still dependent on others. She did have a dream, though—to be an entrepreneur and build a secure future for herself and her family.

Upon hearing of the Rushi Fund Women Empowerment Program, Asha's life changed. She learned money management, leadership, and entrepreneurship through our female youth empowerment programs. With a tiny grant and mentorship, she began a tailoring business. Today, Asha not only earns an income but has also employed three other women from her community, contributing to women's agency and empowerment in her village.
